  1. What do we do on the course?
The course is a unique mixture of proven business techniques and methods which are explained in the Training Room. Specific motorsport exercises are undertaken using these techniques to analyse and improve performance. Back in the Training Room the improvements are reviewed and related back to the everyday workplace. A finale event at the end of the day gives another chance to practice these methods in a racing challenge.
  2. Can we bring more/less people?
Each course is designed for an optimum number – in this case 10 delegates. Additional delegates can be catered for up to a maximum of 20 at an incremental cost. Exclusive courses can be run with fewer than 10 delegates for a set fee. Smaller numbers can be accommodated on to set Open Days with other company representatives, depending upon demand.
  3. What racing things will we be doing?
There are some challenging but fun exercises in the workshop and a practical racing challenge at
the end of the day. This adds a truly memorable dimension!
  4. What is the start and finish time?
To maximise the results for your group we aim to start at 9.00am and finish at 5.00pm with a 30
minute break for lunch. Times may vary if required.
  5. Are longer courses available?
These courses cover some basic principles. Longer courses and full development programmes
are available from our training partners. These can be contacted via the Knockhill office.
  6. What dates are you holding these courses on?
Availability of dates is available from the Knockhill office. We would attempt to match the date
of delivery to your desired timing.
  7. Can you do a course for our specific needs?
Knockhill’s training and development partners will be glad to discuss your individual company needs and tailor programmes to fit using some of the many activities we provide at Knockhill.
  8. We already do this training with other providers – how can we be sure it will be aligned
    to what we’ve done already?

Depending on your needs we can arrange for our training providers to discuss specific cases to
ensure we do not cover duplicate or conflicting topics or methods.
  9. Can we book multiple days?
Yes, we would recommend that, should you have more than 20 delegates, your group is split into
    more than one day.
  10. What relevance are the racing bits?
The ‘racing’ exercises give three unique advantages to enhance the learning experience:
    1. They allow you to practice the learning from the classroom in an environment with which you
are unfamiliar, and therefore you have to rely on the basic principles you have been taught
    2. They allow you to practice the learned techniques in a non-work, and therefore no risk way.
    3. They exercises are fun and exciting – emotions proven to make learning more memorable
  11. How long do we spend in the Training Room and how long doing the motorsport activities?
It will vary to a small degree, as part of the learning is to spend time in review after each exercise.
As a rough guide the split will be 25/75 percent motor sport exercises to Training Room activities.
  12. What experience has Knockhill at doing these courses?
Knockhill is a provider of a large number of motorsport based activities. Our training partners
have many years experience of delivering business learning. This combination allows us to offer
    these unique courses.
  13. What are the facilities like at Knockhill?
In addition to the many motorsport facilities such as karting, skid pan, racing and many other
variants Knockhill has bespoke corporate hospitality facilities which provide and cater for groups
of many sizes. Therefore facilities are comparable to hotels and other learning centres.
  14. What do we wear?
There will be no ‘dirty’ activities so ‘business casual’ would be the most appropriate dress code.
Knockhill can be cold and the weather inclement so please bear this in mind as we will be walking
    between facilities at the circuit.
  15. Will there be more courses available?
Indeed, the list we are launching the series with is a starter. We intend to research companies
both locally and nationally to develop a broader portfolio. If you have anything specific in mind,
speak to us and we will liaise with our facilitators.
